Repair Warranty Policy

All repairs come with a 1 year limited warranty

Sold Device's Return & Warranty Policy

All devices sold come with a 14 day return policy and a 6 month limited warranty.

Customer Agreement Policy

Tech-Nichol Device Repair- Terms of Service (Effective January 1, 2024)

Thank you for choosing Tech-Nichol Device Repair and The PC Clinic of Durango for your repair needs. These Repair Terms of Service ("Agreement") outline the terms governing the use of our repair services ("Services") and website ("Website”).

IMPORTANT: MANDATORY ARBITRATION AND WAIVER

This Agreement contains a mandatory arbitration provision, requiring resolution of disputes exclusively through arbitration. Additionally, this agreement includes a waiver of jury trials and class action proceedings. If you do not agree with any terms in this Agreement, you may not use our Services.

1. Definitions:

  • Our/Us/We: Refers to Tech-Nichol Device Repair, including its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, and System Operators.
  • You/Your/Yourself: Refers to the individual or business utilizing our Services.
  • Service Authorization & Estimate: The document detailing agreed-upon Services and estimated costs.
  • Device: The eligible device for repair, as identified in the Service Authorization & Estimate.
  • Website: Refers to Tech-Nichol.com.

2. Privacy Policy:

  • By using our Services, you acknowledge our collection of information, as explained in our Privacy Policy available at Tech-Nichol.com/agreement.

3. Representations:

When seeking our Services, you represent to Tech-Nichol Device Repair that you are the owner and/or have the authority to consent to an inspection and repair of the Device. Tech-Nichol Device Repair reserves the right to refuse Services if it determines that you are not the owner and/or the authorized user of the Device. When seeking Services, you represent that any information or data disclosed is not confidential or proprietary, and Tech-Nichol Device Repair reserves the right to refuse Services if it deems otherwise.

4. Authorizations:

You authorize Tech-Nichol Device Repair to perform the Services, including but not limited to repairs, technical support, in-home services, and other services as provided by participating stores, described in the Service Authorization & Estimate, subject to this Agreement. When seeking certain Services, you expressly consent to the inspection and repair of the Device and authorize Tech-Nichol Device Repair to make changes to Your Device as necessary to provide the Services.

5. Scope of the Services:

The Services include repair of Your Device and, if applicable, the operating systems and software applications either thereon or intended to be used thereon. Services may also include technology recycling that may be subject to separate terms and conditions. In performing the Services, Tech-Nichol Device Repair may use new, rebuilt, reconditioned, or refurbished parts or components, and original or non-original parts. The Services are not provided as part of the original manufacturer’s warranty.

6. Availability of the Services:

The Services are available for all eligible Devices during the operating hours of the stores and/or service centers in the System, as determined by System Operators. Eligibility for onsite or in-home Services is subject to participating stores, the availability of onsite or in-home Services in Your geographic location, and/or subject to the eligibility requirements set forth in this Agreement. Tech-Nichol Device Repair reserves the right to cancel or refuse Services as necessary.

7. Eligibility For Services:

Eligible devices may include, cellular phones, laptops, tablets, gaming devices, televisions & printers (limited), smart home products, and any other devices as determined by Tech-Nichol Device Repair in its sole discretion. Service eligibility and initiation of the Services are subject to a visual and physical inspection of the device, confirmation that the device is eligible and serviceable according to Tech-Nichol Device Repair's criteria.

8. Back Up:

You are solely responsible for backing up any software or data stored on Your Device and protecting Your data from unauthorized use. Tech-Nichol Device Repair is not responsible for any loss, alteration, or corruption of hardware, software, data, or files.

9. Abandonment:

Tech-Nichol Device Repair will contact You when the Services are completed, and Your Device is ready for pick up. If, despite efforts to contact You, You fail to pick up Your device for more than thirty (30) days following the completion of Services, Your device will be deemed abandoned and become the property of Tech-Nichol Device Repair.

10. Replacement Devices:

Subject to this agreement regarding Your responsibility to back up Your data, Tech-Nichol Device Repair will be responsible for the physical safekeeping of your device while in Our possession for Service. In the unlikely event that your device is lost, stolen, or damaged while in Our possession for Service, Tech-Nichol Device Repair will repair or replace Your Device as determined by Tech-Nichol Device Repair in its sole discretion.

11. Limited Warranty:

Repairs and parts used in the Services, and any replacement Device provided pursuant to this agreement, will be warranted for a period of one (1) year from the date the services are completed (the “Limited Warranty”), subject to the provisions and exclusions set forth herein.

12. Limitation of Liability:

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tech-Nichol Device Repair and its System Operators shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, special, incidental, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) the use or inability to use the services; (b) any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein; (c) any interruption or cessation of services; (d) any viruses, bugs, malware, trojan horses, or the like, which maybe transmitted to or through the Services by any third party; or (e) any errors or omissions in any content or information provided through the Services.

13. Governing Law:

This agreement and any disputes arising out of or related to it will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Colorado, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

14. Changes to the Agreement:

Tech-Nichol Device Repair reserves the right to modify or replace any part of this agreement at any time. It is Your responsibility to check this agreement periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the services following the posting of any changes to this Agreement constitutes acceptance of those changes.

Do I Need to Make an Appointment?

No, you do not need to make an appointment, we only take in walk-ins and go by a first come first serve basis.

How Much Will My Repair Cost?

Cost will vary based on the model of you device and the repair that needs to be done. We do go by a $99/hr rate.

There are multiple issues with my device, do you offer repair bundles?

What types of devices do you repair?
